FCA Victory Bowl

The Fellowship of Christian Athletes will be hosting a sports skills day on Saturday morning, June 15, at Floyd Casey Stadium in Waco. Graduated seniors from the 12-county Heart of Texas Area who have been selected to play in the annual Victory Bowl later in the evening will be conducting skills events and games in softball and flag football with Special Olympics athletes and those aspiring to become athletes. All the activities will take place on the playing field of Floyd Casey Stadium. Athletes and families/chaperones will receive a free ticket to the Victory Bowl scheduled for 6:30 p.m. at Floyd Casey Stadium. Please call the area office if you plan on attending.

Asia Pacific Unified Sports Football Cup Qualifiers

Join Special Olympics in the Asia Pacific region for the Unified Sports Soccer Cup Qualifier that will bring together Special Olympics athletes (people with intellectual disabilities) and Unified Partners (people without intellectual disabilities) to play as teammates from all over the region. They will be competing for a spot in the 2014 Unified Sports Football Cup in Brazil.

Europe Eurasia Basketball Tournament

Special Olympics athletes from 16 European nations will gather in Istanbul Turkey to compete in the fifth European Basketball Tournament in association with the Turkish Basketball Federation. Nations represented include: Austria, Azerbaijan, Belgium, Estonia, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Latvia, Macedonia, Poland, Russia, Serbia, Slovenia, Switzerland, Turkey, and Ukraine.
