    The Charles E. Watson Softball & Golf Tournament will be held in Wichita, Kansas at two locations. The Golf competition will be held at the Sierra Hills Golf Course on Friday, July 29th. The Softball Competition will be held at the Two Rivers Youth Club on Saturday, July 30th and Sunday July 31st.

    The 2016 John Henderson Memorial Golf Tournament To Benefit Special Olympics Rhode Island will be held at Kirkbrae Country Club on Monday, August 1st. Registration and lunch is between 11:30am-1pm. Shotgun start at 1pm. Dinner will be at 6:00pm. The cost for the tournament is $200.00 per golfer which includes lunch, golf and dinner.

    For the second year in a row Special Olympics Michigan will be hosting our Southwest Regional Softball Tournament in Rockford at the Art Van Sports Complex. The event is scheduled to take place on Saturday August 13th with competition beginning at 9:00 am. Volunteer Registration is currently open as we are looking to fill the following positions: Scorekeepers, Scoreboard Operators, Field Managers, Umpires, Catchers Assistance, Skills Contest and Medical. Volunteer positions are available from 9:00am - 4:30pm; all day and half day time slots can be accommodated.
