Finish Line

As part of Finish Line’s commitment to celebrating the everyday achievements of athletes everywhere, the leading athletic shoe retailer launched an exciting multi-year partnership with Special Olympics in April 2012.

Add cheer to the list.

Finish Line Supports Special Olympics This Holiday Season

Finish Line is a leading athletic retailer and has chosen Special Olympics to be one of its beneficiaries of the Finish Line Youth Foundation's in-store and online holiday customer and employee donation campaign. This campaign is being held in Finish Line stores nationwide from November 2 – December 31, 2012.

The Holiday Consumer Donation Campaign is one key component of an exciting multi-year sponsorship with Special Olympics, which launched in April 2012. In addition to this Consumer Donation Campaign, Finish Line will support Special Olympics through diverse opportunities including sales of co-branded merchandise online and in Finish Line's more than 650 stores, employee volunteer opportunities in local communities, and national sponsorship of Special Olympics TRAIN – a sports assessment and nutrition education program designed to help Special Olympics athletes stay active, stay healthy, and achieve their personal best.

"This partnership is a great fit for us," said Dr. Timothy P. Shriver, Chairman and CEO of Special Olympics International. "We are a sports organization and Finish Line is a great sports brand with a passion to celebrate the achievements of athletes everywhere. Finish Line's commitment to supporting athletes with intellectual disabilities will be a tremendous asset as we continue to work to promote acceptance and inclusion for all people."
