Finish Line Supports Special Olympics This Holiday Season

For the second year in a row, Finish Line, a leading athletic shoe retailer has chosen Special Olympics to be one of the beneficiaries of the Finish Line Youth Foundation's in-store and online holiday customer and employee donation campaign. This campaign is being held in Finish Line stores nationwide from November 1 - December 31, 2013.  The first $1 million raised will be donated to Special Olympics.

The Holiday Consumer Donation Campaign is one key component of the sponsorship with Special Olympics.  In just two short years, Finish Line and the Finish Line Youth Foundation have continued their commitment to build a fully integrated partnership with Special Olympics ensuring that both organizations are completely associated with each other. In addition to this Holiday Consumer Donation Campaign,  Finish Line has supported Team USA on their journey to 2013 Special Olympics World Winter Games in Korea, provided hundreds of employee volunteers from Boston to Los Angeles, and actively raises funds through their consumer donation  campaigns, like their holiday and Back-to-School drives  in August and sales co-branded merchandise online and in Finish Line's more than 650 stores.

In addition, Finish Line is also the national sponsorship of Special Olympics TRAIN - a sports assessment and nutrition education program designed to help Special Olympics athletes stay active, stay healthy, and achieve their personal best.
