Will Star Coach give Team Switzerland an advantage?

By Maureen Rabbitt

Sean Simpson discusses strategies with the Swiss floorball team.

Sean Simpson, Coach of the National Swiss Ice Hockey Team and Canadian ice hockey star visited the floorball team for Team Switzerland in their Korea 2013 delegation camp last week. He spent two hours coaching the Swiss Floorball Team that will compete in the 2013 Special Olympics World Winter Games in PyeongChang, South Korea from January 29th – February 5th. Coach Simpson also stayed to support the team as they played a match against a class from the Einsiedein convent, where Team Switzerland have had their preparation camp before leaving for PyeongChang. The Swiss Special Olympics Floorball team won 12.6 and no doubt had a clear advantage getting tips and coaching strategies from the coach of the Swiss National Ice Hockey Team! It was a huge highlight for the athletes to meet their hero Sean Simpson.
