Special Olympics televised live! (on a bus?)

By Drew Boshell

Today I was sad to leave the Special Olympics World Winter Games, one of the most amazing experiences I have had. From shaking hands with a fellow Canadian and new personal hero Matthew Williams, to seeing droves of athletes from around the world being cared for by world class medical volunteers at Healthy Athletes, I left proud being connected to such an amazing organization. Ironically, because of my work I didn't get to see any competition, so you can imagine my delight to see the Kenya vs Korea floor hockey game televised live on my bus from Gangueng to Seoul. What a perfect ending to an incredible experience. I am a fan!
