Ward Wilson, Share My Story

By Ward Wilson, Western Carolina University, Junior

My name is Ward Wilson, and this was my first experience with Special Olympics. It has been really cool to work with the athletes; that has been the most rewarding part of this weekend. My favorite memory has to be working the softball fielding competition on Saturday. I thought that it would be different, but the athletes were really good at fielding the ball, it was cool seeing how skilled these athletes are.
