Jenna Trebour Helps Declare Summer Games "Open"

By Holly Claytor

Jenna Trebour, Champion

She'd never sit up. Never roll over. That's what Beth and Ryan Trebour were told when their daughter, Jenna, was born 17 years ago. At Summer Games’ Opening Ceremony, just two days before her 18th birthday, Jenna – also the face of the Games marketing campaign - stood on stage and helped declare Summer Games “open.” “I will never ever be able to describe the feelings I had, watching my child walk onto the stage on her own, smile and wave, vibrate with such joy,” said Beth, Jenna’s Mom.
