Never Be Afraid and Never Give Up

By Chad Michael Older

I was coaching two Special Olympics athletes in the pentathlon. One was getting down on himself and he wanted to quit in the sport in the middle of the tournament. I said no and I talked him and got him to believe in himself, and he ended getting a gold medal in that tournament, which was a state tournament. And my other athlete finished third, all on their own. I will never let them give up on themselves.

About Chad Michael Older: I have coached the Princeton tigers area seven Minnesota for four years now and I have coached all of our sports mainly basketball and athletics but also softball and bowling I am also a 41 year old disabled veteran from the Persian gulf war.
