New Orleans Saints Fullback Teams Up with Special Olympics Louisiana

New Orleans Saints fullback Jedidiah "Jed" Collins has been appointed as a Special Olympics Louisiana Ambassador. Collins has been volunteering for Special Olympics Louisiana for over a year and as an Ambassador, he is charged with promoting inclusion and respect for athletes with intellectual disabilities. Special Olympics Louisiana serves more than 13,500 people with intellectual disabilities through various programs year round. Collins has met with several of the athletes throughout the past year serving as Honorary Coach at state events, participating in several fundraising projects and promoting the R-Word campaign by asking others to join him in eradicating the use of the word "retard."
