Lithuanian skier and runner Rūta Tuskenytė has an impressive World Games resume -- having competed in 5 World Games now. This year, the 34-year-old veteran is experiencing her last World Games days before moving on to even greater things in her life.

Tuskenytė has won 90 medals from various competitions. The memories of winter and summer World Games shine the brightest, from Athens in 2009 to this year in Austria.

One of the rewards about winning medals is what comes afterwards. Tuskenytė enjoys competition and award ceremonies, but what she is anticipating the most are the festivities back home. “It is the best feeling to come back to Utena. There is fancy reception at our centre. They get us the red carpet and fireworks even. It is very special. After that I get to go to the presidential palace. I have been there for four times already. Dalia Grybauskaitė [Lithuania's President] knows me well!" she said.
