Special Olympics Korea (SOK) hosted one of the most impressive soccer matches on 23rd of September 2017 in its history, and millions of people were given a chance to learn about Special Olympics and Unified Sports. It was a very special match because the Everton Disability Football team from Everton Football Club came to visit South Korea for the match.

The match took place at the Sungai Arena Park, home to Incheon United FC, on Saturday, after Incheon Unitied's own game against Suwon Samsung, and the game was shown live on a local Korean TV channel, SPOTV. Due to the media coverage, SOK facilitated raising its awareness in the Korean public.

While Everton were in South Korea, not only did they have a football match but they also conducted many charity works for the development of football in SOK, including coach workshops and football coaching.

Everton is one of the biggest English football clubs in the world and it has the largest charity organization among English football clubs.
