2013 Open Summer Day for Special Olympics Libya

Special Olympics Libya on Saturday, July 6, 2013 organized an open Summer Day in collaboration with the Social Solidarity Fund, Tripoli Branch, and sponsored by the club Al Ahli in Tripoli and rehabilitation centers for people with disabilities in the village of Arab Maghreb. There were 250 participants from sub-programs in Tripoli, Misurata and the western region. The Games ran from nine in the morning and stretched out to a full day and included many local notable people. All participants got free health screening and ran races. There was a drawing competion and many fun games and lots of live music. At the end of the fun summer day, winners got prizes, gifts, and refreshments by the Honorary President of the Olympics, the Rapporteur-General Olympics sports director,program manager of Misurata, and sub​​-director of the Center of Toledo.
