A Baseball Game for Special Olympics in New Jersey

By michael maregrum. aka big mike

July 20th marked 45 years of involvement of the Special Olympics in Chicago. Well, 45 years later a new sport was introduced to Special Olympics in New Jersey. A baseball game was played between two teams of 15 on each team. New Jersey North and the team I happily play on, New Jersey South. It was a great day in Special Olympics history. Hopefully it continues around the world. Let's get some baseball teams, so we can play in 2014 in New Jersey at the USA National Games.

About michael maregrum. aka big mike: athlete since 1995. played on team New Jersey softball traditional team in 1995 in Connecticut World Games. I play basketball flag football. softball and floor hockey.
