Bowling with Zac

By Gail Smith

HI I have been on bowling leagues for over 40 years and this year on one of my leagues we have a special boy names Zac. He's a Special Olympics athlete with autism and a fantastic bowler. His average is over 200 and no matter what pins he knocks down he is happy. I must have made an impression with him because, every time he throws a strike he comes looking for me to give a high five. Looking for ways to communicate with him because he doesn't understand when I try to talk to him. I give parents so much credit to teach children to be the best no matter what problems they might have! Gail from Maryland

About Gail Smith: I am a mother and wife of three children of bowlers and softball players.
