A national aquatics competition was the event to introduce the first Healthy Athletes initiative in Croatia. Eighty two swimmers went through a FUNfitness screening organized by 31 students and professors from the Faculty of Kinesiology in Zagreb. The screening, headed by newly trained Clinical Director Zeljko Libjak, took place on 24 October, 2013, the first day of the two-day competition that was held at Tuheljske toplice, near Zagreb. In total 133 swimmers participated in the competition organized by the Center for Rehabilitation Stančić and Special Sports Club Luč. Pupils from elementary school Lijepa naša Tuhelj volunteered. In the evening, swimmers were treated to an accordion concert while coaches had a roundtable discussion on the Winter and Summer World Games. Medals were presented by Mr. Željko Kiseljak, representative of the Community Sport Association Zaprešić and the Community Sport Unions, Zagreb County, and Mr. Drago Žiljak, from the Zagreb mayor’s office.
