Two teams of female players were part of the tournament in Skopje.

The National Football Federation of Macedonia (FYR) opened the doors of its new House of Football to Special Olympics players on 1 June 2014 in Skopje as part of Special Olympics European Football Week. Eighty-six players, including females, from nine sports clubs competed in three divisions during the one-day tournament in the federation’s new complex of offices and training fields. The federation supported the entire event, including providing uniforms for the players, and promoted the event on its website. Around sixty family members were among the players’ biggest fans.
