Latin American Athletes Welcome the World Cup Trophy

By Iael Bielorai

As part of the World Cup Trophy Tour which runs through more than 88 countries before returning to Brazil, several of our Special Olympics Programs were invited by The Coca-Cola Company to receive the trophy and perform different recreational activities. Our programs that participated in this activity were: Special Olympics, Bolivia, Colombia, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Panama, and Peru. The athletes had the opportunity to receive the trophy with excitement and meet the committee that accompanied it.

About Iael Bielorai: I am the Communications Coordinator for Special Olympics Latin America.
