Me Winning the 16th Annual Special Olympics Michigan Muskie Derby

By Steven Kujawski

54 inch Muskie

My name is Steven Kujawski and my Special Olympics story is about me winning the 16th Annual Special Olympics Michigan Muskie Derby on June 21, 2011 at the Grosse Pointe Yacht Club. I latched onto a monster 54-inch muskie fish during that competition and in doing so I became the first Special Olympics athlete ever to win it! Since then I have been the reigning champion for three years and I have also appeared on an episode of “Michigan Out of Doors” and I also became an honorary member of the Michigan Ontario Muskie Club.

About Steven Kujawski: I have been competing on Special Olympics Since 2007 and I do swimming, bowling, skiing, and softball and I love being a Special Olympic Athlete and I love everything about Special Olympics
