Romania celebrates 2014 Regional Youth Games

By Katarina Kiss

"Look at me! I'm a Champion!" Well done to all champions.

150 athletes from the six regions of Romania gathered in Piatra Neamt from April 28-29 to celebrate the 2014 Youth Regional Games. They competed in gymnastics, track, bocce and badminton. Each also received a free Healthy Athletes full health check. The event couldn’t have been possible without the support of so many. Firstly thanks to the financial support from Vodafone Foundation Romania. Thanks also to volunteers from Motivation Romania, volunteer doctors and students from the Medical University, volunteers from schools in Piatra Neamt, partners Riana Star Association, paramedics, and sports officials.
