Television Spot Production

By Karina Herbas

Special Olympics Bolivia Athletes

On the occasion of commemorating the World Down Syndrome Day, on March 21, we filmed a TV spot, which highlighted important roles of our athletes’ talents. The production of the spot was led by Alvaro Sanabria, a Special Olympics Bolivia volunteer, who works with the same creative ideas using SO Bolivia communication equipment. The main characters of this production were athletes with Down syndrome, volunteers, family members and other athletes of the movement.

The same was broadcast on the major television networks of Bolivia on this global day and we also went to news programs, family and cultural magazines to discuss the importance of supporting the development of people with intellectual disabilities in the country.
