The Pictures Remain Special Olympics History

By Sara Cuesta

I attended the Special Olympics national Soccer tournament Special Olympics in Venezuela as a spectator at and took over a thousand pictures, each picture representing the experiences of each team, its members, their coaches and families that always accompany their children. I live every moment, I could feel my heart pounding in each important play, and I could see the connection between all as one family - Special Olympics. In competitions their rivalries disappear and they all become one team, that of Special Olympics.

About Sara Cuesta: I am a retired teacher of special children and now I'm the Event Photographer of Special Olympics. What I desire most is to participate in the National Games in New Jersey and then the World Games in Los Angeles taking photos.
