Special Olympics Athletes Guatemala became hosts to the arrival of the ball that carried a message of Peace and Inclusion. It is an initiative where the Spirit of Soccer visited different cities around the world with a ball which was signed by different people including football players from over 25 countries. Our athletes not only received and signed it, but played with it. During its stay in Guatemala, the ball visited the National Palace of Culture, where it was signed by the Deputy Minister of Sport and Recreation, Presidential Commissioner for Sports, the Ambassador of England and the President of Special Olympics. Also the ball rolled into the Estadio Cementos Progreso with Special Olympics athletes and football players of  FC Guatemala Communications, who shared the ball with with our athletes doing penalty spot kicks, signed the ball with autographs and took pictures with them.
