Despite their loss at the Asia Pacific qualifier for the Special Olympics Global Unified Cup, the Singapore Unified Team remains positive about their time in Bangkok. Unified Partner Yeo Da Wei “was pleased to see the athletes forge bonds with the partners.” Partner Muhd Razali felt the trip strengthened the team’s dynamics, stressing “we must have the spirit to win the game.” Athletes Muhd Azmi, Michael Yew and Ang Guang Joo felt the competition was tough, but believed their team had strong teamwork. Azmi summed it best by saying:” I learnt to never give up and play as a team. Our team did very well even though we lost 3 matches but we still give them a tough fight."
