Unified Seminar at the University of Craiova, Romania

On Thursday October 31st at the Faculty for Sports and Physical Education at the University of Craiova, Special Olympics Romania organized a seminar as a part of the project "Unified Sports for Recreation". Almost 80 participants including students and teachers from the University in Craiova took part in the seminar. Moreover, sports teachers from special and mainstream inclusive schools in Craiova were also invited to the meeting. The purpose of the seminar was to promote Unified Sports by encouraging university students to establish contact with special and mainstream schools in order to start training on how to build new Unified Football teams. The next goal of the project will be to organize together a Unified Football tournament in spring 2014 for newly created Unified teams. The event was promoted by local station of National Radio.
