Unified Sports

By Jordyn Cristaudo

At our county meet!

I started unified sports my junior year of high school, in 2012 and fell in love with it! I have made incredible friendships with my fellow athletes, and have learned a lot about how to play various sports as well. There is never a dull moment at practices, we're always high fiving and laughing with each other. It is going to be insanely hard leaving this team when I graduate this June, but I will carry the memories we've made together with me in years to come. Our team started off last year with around 15 athletes and has grown into a family of about 30 now. I love seeing the new bonds between teammates that have been formed, and hope that this inclusion continues to grow in the future! I love unified sports!
