Mrs. Francina Bopape, from Mahube valey in Pretoria, was one of the parents who came to the screening with her son. She said that she was very keen to find out what Special Olympics South Africa is about and that this served as a reason for both her and her son to come and attend the screening.
Mrs. Bopape said that she is very happy with the services she and her son received throughout the day, that all she has learned during this screening will be of great help and will help bring change into their lives.
Francina expressed how impressed she was with what the organisation stands for and what they do for the community in dire need as well as how well organised everything was. Francina mentioned that what Special Olympics SA is doing for people in dire need is an example of the kind of change the society needs, especially because it benefits children with intellectual disabilities throughout South Africa.
