Tusitina Nu’uvali was born and raised in the biggest most beautiful island of Savai’i, Samoa. She was raised not only by her late mother, ‘Pe’ape’a Nu’uvali’ and father, ‘Taua’aletoa Sailigi Nu’uvali’, but families in her village and church. She is the eldest to six siblings (5 sisters & 1 brother) and is now a mom to five boys with her life-partner, Barry Feu’u.

Ms. Nu’uvali is currently a Managing Director for her small coaching consultancy firm which works alongside communities in various opportunity projects, through proposal writing, standards compliance, development, monitoring, and evaluation.

She was the National Director to Special Olympics Samoa from 2011 – 2017 and has since returned to the role, in March of 2024. From 2017 to May of 2024, she served on the Board of Directors for Special Olympics Samoa. It is her goal to achieve a community of accepted, inclusive living.

Apart from her work with Special Olympics Samoa, Ms. Nu’uvali has served in a variety of roles such as a Registered Nurse, Health Worker for Children with Disabilities in rural areas, in programs to identify talents to generate income for women with and without disabilities in the rural areas, taking market opportunities to families in the villages, and with Fair Trade & Organically certified farms in Samoa for international markets to generate income for farmers of all genders and all abilities.

After more than 20 years of gaining practical knowledge from working with the movement, to engage, to include, to accept, to connect people with opportunities, Ms. Nu’uvali’s core values are: innovation, commitment, respect, transparency, and opportunities to learn and grow.
