Walter Tempelman

Walter Tempelman is the founder of Discover the Games. As a freelance journalist he worked as director, editor in chief, host and reporter at broadcasting media organizations like the NOS and RTV Rijnmond. His never ending search for the obscure, the lesser-known stories in sports led him to Discover the Games. The stories he writes (and the pictures he takes) are published in several national and regional Dutch newspapers, magazines and broadcasters. In 2023, Walter visited the Special Olympics World Games in Berlin and since then he is a contributing writer for Special Olympics Netherlands.
