Supporting Socially Inclusive Schools
Through the generous support of the US Office of Special Education Programs of the US Department of Education, schools across the United States have been activated as communities of inclusion. The 2020-2021 school year marks the thirteenth year of this partnership. With a focus on Special Olympics Unified Sports®, inclusive youth leadership, and whole school engagement activities, students with and without ID become the agents of change in their schools promoting social inclusion and acceptance.
