Amanda Goh

Chair, Fundraising Committee; Business and Sustainability Communications Leader, APAC Packaging and Specialty Plastics, Dow

Amanda Goh is an accomplished 25-year global communications professional with senior marketing agency, management consultancy and founder experience in Asia Pacific and US. She is Dow APAC’s business and sustainability communications leader for Packaging & Specialty Plastics (P&SP), Dow’s largest business unit. Amanda is a member of both the APAC P&SP leadership team and the global P&SP business communications leadership team. In this role, Amanda leads a team of established communications professionals and agency partners to design and lead strategic marketing communications strategy and initiatives that differentiates P&SP’s business and solutions portfolio in Asia Pacific. From her base in Singapore, her role is integral to shaping reputation management and integrated marketing strategies that help enable business growth and address sustainability challenges in an increasingly complex global business context.

Prior to joining Dow P&SP in June 2023, Amanda founded a management consultancy focused on purpose, sustainability, and startup ventures in the technology, web3 and health sector for three years. Prior to being a founder, she served a 17-year tenure at Edelman, the world’s largest independent communications marketing agency. She was their first Asia Pacific vice chair for key global accounts and large sectors and was group CEO for Singapore starting and scaling four major companies over an 8-year period. She also spent four years at Edelman global New York HQ as senior vice president in global business marketing, crisis, and public affairs functions. She started her career in Porter Novelli and Grayling, both of which are established agency networks.

She has been based in Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, China, London, and New York. Prior to communications, Amanda was a business journalist for two years. She has a bachelor’s degree in mass communications with specialization in marketing, journalism and film from Curtin University of Technology, Australia. She successfully attended management training at Columbia Business School and was a one-year Leadership Fellow with International Women’s Forum attached to INSEAD and Harvard Business School.
