Young man playing floorball

Fan Xinwei is a teenage athlete who's already an experienced Special Olympics floorball player. In fact, he's been playing floorball since 2016.

Fan Xinwei is from Shanghai, China—and has previously competed at the international level, including the Special Olympics Korea Floorball Invitational in both 2018 and 2019. Now he's training for an even bigger challenge: his first Special Olympics World Winter Games!

He’s a determined and dedicated athlete. That's why he was awarded an honor as Best Scorer, as he pushed his team to win their national championship. Since then, he has achieved multiple victories in various competitions in Shanghai.

Last year, Fan Xinwei once again led his team to victory in the Special Olympics Floorball Selection Competition held in Shanghai, winning the championship. He and his teammates are excited to compete in their first World Winter Games in Turin, Italy!
