How do you define your abilities?

In the summer 2018, I represented Special Olympics Arkansas at USA Games in Seattle and I brought home a silver medal. I’m hoping for a chance to compete in the USA Games in Florida 2022 for swimming. My goal is to make it to a World Games.

What should coaches know about working with individuals with autism?

They need to make eye-to-eye contact when talking to me to make sure that I’m paying attention.

What stereotypes or misunderstandings about autism most frustrate you?

People think I don’t like too many changes without a lot of warning.

What do you most want people to understand about autism?

I’m a person like everybody else and I just think differently.
