The Special Olympics 1st Pan African Games , held 23rd – 31st January in Egypt, Cairo, brought together athletes from the Special Olympics African and Middle East North Africa regions.
Across seven days of inspiring events and competitions in athletics , basketball , bocce and football , over 1,000 athletes from 42 Special Olympics programs around the African continent, performed their best, broke down barriers and showcased the power of inclusion!
