Fitness means being able to perform physical activity. It also means having the energy and strength to feel as good as possible. Getting more fit, even a little bit, can improve your health. Here is a story from an athlete, who was a part of the Special Olympics South Africa SO Fit training.

Boitumelo Pule is an athlete, grassroots soccer coach and was also part of the SO Fit coaches training that was held in the Northwest province. He said that, “I have learned a lot about healthy eating and importance of water and that it is important to implement fitness in my life.

Boitumelo further said that, "fitness helps you feel better and have more energy for work and leisure time. You'll feel more able to do things and it allows you to have a better focus at school." Boitumelo said that he is grateful to Special Olympics South Africa for introducing this program in his school.
