Join Special Olympics Louisiana for the exhibition of "Brave in the Attempt: Special Olympics in Louisiana" at the Louisiana Sports Hall of Fame & Northwest Louisiana History Museum in Natchitoches, LA.
This exhibition explores the history of Special Olympics with an emphasis on the organization’s efforts in Louisiana. The seeds for Special Olympics Louisiana were planted at the 1968 Special Olympics Games, held on Soldier’s Field in Chicago. The exhibit opened May 5, 2018 and will continue throughout the year in honor of Special Olympics Louisiana's 50th Anniversary.
