The world’s largest inclusive sports competition is taking place next summer in Berlin, and help is needed.
From June 17 – 25, the city of Berlin will welcome 7,000 athletes from nearly 200 nations along with 300,000 spectators. To support the World Games, the Berlin Local Organizing Committee has launched a campaign to get 20,000 volunteers registered.
Volunteers will have opportunities to meet and interact with the athletes, support the 26 different sports being offered at eight venues, and receive access to the Opening and Closing Ceremonies. Additionally, volunteers will have free entry to all competitions.
Prospective candidates must be at least 16 years of age as of 1 May 2023, available for five days of more over the entire World Games duration from June 17 – 25 and speak German or English.
