Ching-Yun Tseng is an athlete from Special Olympics Chinese Taipei in the East Asia Region. Ching-Yun participates in table tennis, tennis, and bocce. She has been involved in Special Olympics since she was in high school.
Ching-Yun credits Special Olympics for improving her health and physical fitness. She has been involved in the Youth Leadership Program since 2019. Chin-Yun has been able to express herself more easily and has gained more confidence thanks to the Youth Leadership Program. She also realized that she could make a difference.
Ching-Yun hopes to help improve discrimination through the platform of Special Olympics. She wants to be a voice for others with disabilities and show them that they can become leaders who have an impact on socially relevant issues.
Project Description
Ching-Yun’s grant plan is to have a training for 24 people. The training will include 12 athlete leaders and at least 12 cooperating teachers, parents, guardians, and or unified partners.
