Youssef is excited for the congress in Berlin. He is looking forward to introducing himself as a leading player and to presenting his program project in the Middle East region. He is also excited to meet athletes from different countries and cultures and exchange experiences with them.

Youssef is employed as a human resources employee at Unilever Mashreq as well as an assistant basketball coach. When he isn’t working or competing, Youssef learns computers and the foundations of sports training. In the coming period, Youssef hopes to include the culture of inclusion in an expanded way, not only in sports and competitions, but also in the various programs of Special Olympics and integrating into the basic functions within the Special Olympics program.

Youssef says that being an athlete leader means a lot to him. He says it is an honor to be an athlete leader and it gives him the opportunity to be able to acquire many leadership skills and the ability to influence others.

Project Description

Youssef’s grant plan is to have a focus group for families, young athletes, athletes, and partners. He will be holding awareness workshops for families in topics they are interested in. There will be a unified young athlete demonstration with the participation of athlete leaders as assistant coaches. Youssef hopes that this will raise awareness about the unified leadership approach in his community.
