SOIL U.S. Youth Ambassador

My name is Sophie Klawitter and I have been a part of Special Olympics since I was born. I am a Sophomore at Peotone High School in Peotone, IL. My brother, Jack, is my partner and he is 2 years older than me. I have been cheering him on at sports events my whole life. Now we get to work together to create a more inclusive environment in our community and across the United States. We play together on the Peotone Unified basketball team. It feels amazing to play together on the court rather than cheer each other on from the sidelines.
