Akmaral is a 19-year-old from Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, who has been actively engaged with Special Olympics since her freshman year in high school. Throughout her time with Special Olympics, she has contributed to various projects and initiatives, including her recent participation in the 2023 Global Youth Leadership Summit in Berlin. Akmaral is excited about her role on the Global Youth Leadership Council because it will bring her a step closer towards achieving a more inclusive and welcoming world for everyone. She is also excited to share her stories and learn by listening to the stories of other youth leaders from around the globe. Akmaral is a leader of the Unified Generation because she passionately believes in the beauty of inclusivity and thinks that being a human means to be included, welcomed, and loved regardless of anything.
