Konrad is a 21-year-old Youth Leader from Halle, Germany! After he graduated, he decided to begin working for Saale Werkstatten der Lebenshilfe e.V. Halle. Since Konrad was a kid, he regularly plays sports! He loves to swim, ski, dance, play table tennis, and basketball! He participated in the 2022 National Games as a swimmer. This experience inspired him to continue to be a part of the Unified Generation!

Hannah is a 16-year-old Youth Leader from Halle, Germany! At school, her English teacher asked her if she wanted to attend the 2023 Global Youth Leadership Summit, to which she immediately agreed! That was her first time participating as a part of Special Olympics, and she is excited to be a part of the Unified Generation!
Konrad and Hannah noticed that there is a lack of Inclusive activities in the city of Ammendorf. They both decided to do what they love, dancing and cooking, and host a Unified dance event where they would cook a meal afterward!
Konrad and Hanna first had to host a cooking class to teach participants how to make a healthy nutritious meal. Once they all learned how to make the meal, they were brought together in the city of Ammendorf, where they were all able to connect via dance, Afterwards, they were all able to still connect, while also enjoying a healthy nutritious meal.
This project helped Konrad and Hanna improve both their organizational skills and their teamwork because they were successfully able to work with several types of personalities. It was challenging because unfortunately, Hannah got sick and had to stay home but she found joy in seeing others happy, and knowing her project was successful. They are most proud that everyone worked together well, and so many people were interested in participating. They will continue to lead and spread inclusion by continuing to work with Special Olympics to further the mission of inclusion in areas where there is still work to be done!
