Teddy is carrying on the family tradition of public service as a firefighter at Clark Cowlitz Fire Rescue in Vancouver, Washington. Teddy grew up participating in Best Buddies International, which was started by his father, Anthony Kennedy Shriver. After spending two years in Peru as a Peace Corps volunteer, he went on to work for Best Buddies as a Director of Marketing and Best Buddies Challenges. In joining the Founder’s Council, Teddy hopes to continue spreading awareness about the special abilities of the IDD community.
