Wonjae Choi, a 28-year-old athlete has been an active member of Special Olympics Korea since 2018, focusing his passion on Volleyball. Wonjae takes great joy in reading, playing E-sports, watching animations and collecting animation goods. Since 2017, he has been working as a barista in a coffee shop, actively promoting leadership roles in the local community. Wonjae has enthusiastically engaged in various Athlete Leadership training, where he improved essential skills such as public speaking, effective communication, and event coordination.
Wonjae had been a member of National Athlete Leadership Council and SOEA Athlete Leadership Council. Wonjae enthusiastically engaged in various Athlete Leadership training, where he improved essential skills such as public speaking, effective communication, and event coordination in 2023. In 2023, Wonjae participated in the Berlin Global Athlete Congress to represent SOK, further enhancing his leadership skills and impact. His dream and goal is to provide a foundation for people with ID to live in a better environment.
