Media Registrations for Special Olympics World Games Berlin 2023 Now Open

Berlin to host global media and broadcasters, 17 – 25 June 2023

Media registrations are now open for the world’s largest inclusive sporting event, the Special Olympics World Games Berlin 2023. Coming to Germany for the first time, the World Games, will take place in the capital city of Berlin 17 to 25 June 2023.

Over 1,000 media and broadcasters from around the world are expected to head to Berlin next June with media registrations open from 1 December 2022 to 30 April 2023. Media representatives can apply for media credentials via the official Berlin 2023 website here: https://www.berlin2023.org/en/accreditation.

The Special Olympics World Games 2023 will put a spotlight on inclusion as well as on Germany and the city of Berlin. The Special Olympics World Games will be broadcast to hundreds of millions of viewers worldwide, showcasing athletic performance and highlighting stereotype-defying stories – changing minds and opening hearts through transformational inclusion.

The Games will be the world’s largest sports and humanitarian event taking place in 2023, and the biggest multi-sport event in Berlin in decades. The Special Olympics World Games Berlin 2023 will feature more than 7,000 Special Olympics athletes from over 190 countries who will compete in 26 Olympic-type summer sports across nine days of exciting and inspiring competitions, by athletes and for athletes.
