Pamela O’Donnell

Volleyball Technical Delegate - Dublin, Ireland

Pamela is from Ireland. Her involvement in Volleyball started when she was in school. She won her first International Volleyball junior cap for Ireland at the age of 15 in 1992, and she retired from Senior International duty in 2008, having earned 30 International Senior Caps for Ireland.

Pamela became involved in Special Olympics when Ireland hosted the Special Olympics World Summer Games in 2003. At this time, Pamela was the President of the Referee’s Commission of Volleyball Ireland. She was selected as the Volleyball Officials Manager for these games and was responsible for the training of Irish officials. Pamela, who is also a National Grade Volleyball Referee, was also a referee at these World Games. After Pamela’s involvement in the World Games in 2003, she was later selected as a Volleyball referee for the SO World Games in China 2007 & in Greece in 2011. In 2015 Pamela was the Assistant Technical Delegate for Volleyball in LA, and she was also a Volleyball Referee for the 2019 SO World Games in Abu Dhabi.
