Teresa graduated in Physical Education, Master, PHD and Post Doctorate in Adapted Physical Education at UNICAMP (2019). She has been teaching at Superior School of Physical Education since 1996. Teresa has experience in Physical Education, focusing on Adapted Physical Education on the following subjects: sports, adapted physical education, intellectual disability and tennis.
Teresa has been organizing tennis events for individuals with intellectual disability in Latin America and many other countries, since 2008. She is a member of Special Olympics' SRAC and SRT. She has organized tennis tournaments in 3 Special Olympics World Games (Athens, Greece, 2011); Los Angeles, USA, 2015 and Abu Dhabi, United Arabic Emirates, 2019). She has also presented many papers in ITF's (International Tennis Federation) events.
