My name is Joseph Gendron, I am a Senior at East Greenwich High School in Rhode Island. I am an athlete on the Unified Volleyball team, and captain of the Unified Basketball team. I have been a member of Special Olympics for 2 years, and I have always helped out organizing fun events such as holiday dances, and touchdown dances in celebration of the Super Bowl. I have spoken to real life Congressmen during Capitol Hill Day in February 2021. I wanted to be a U.S. ambassador in order to have kids with disabilities and without disabilities to be included in sports, clubs, and social gatherings.
