My name is Alexandra Scott and I am going to be a senior at East Greenwich High School. I have been involved with Special Olympics since 7th grade and have played on both the Unified Basketball and Volleyball teams. During my sophomore year I was the Secretary of the Youth Activation Committee and was the President for both my junior year and my upcoming senior year. To me, Unified is not about the sports, it is about the long lasting friendships and connections both the athletes and the partners make together. Some of the best friends I've ever had I met through the Unified Champion Schools Program.
