Project Objectives/Activities

One

The project will train adapted judo instructors and help expand their knowledge, leading to a ripple effect of benefits after the intervention is finished. This will be accomplished through a number of coaching sessions and through the creation of a virtual training platform that will help guarantee the training of future adapted judo instructors.

Two

The program will benefit more than 120 youth with ID who will have direct participation in judo programmes through this project and more than 18 instructors who will participate in direct training, along with more than 80 future instructors who will be able to receive training through the virtual platform.

Three

An app will also be developed to support the project which can be used by the participants and the coaches. The app will have resources, tips and support for the project participants and will be a key legacy of the project.
